And it is no worse than others so it ok. Or a disgusting vile sin which pollutes God air and endangers health is ok as long is there is not a passage in the Bible which speaks against it. Shame do you look to your Bible to justify all sin? Disgusting people. Vile and shameful smokers.

There is no sin that is justifiable, nor any one who is honestly a follower of God and sincere in devotion justifying ones sins. Those who justify or think they are justifying an attitude or characteristic or activity are not walking in the light of the gospel of peace, but are following a religion. All religions will take you to the same place, Hell. Only a relationship with Jesus Christ by being born again of the Spirit of God and then filled with the Spirit will live above such sins.

However who made you a judge of Christians? Are you the Christ, are you God? Have you made yourself judge and juror? It is by his own relationship with God that he will be judged. You should take due consideration of your own relationship, and endeavor to make sure that your relationship with God is up to date and current, for if you don't you too may perish in the smoke.

All sin is transgression of the law. If you want to know what sin is look at the Ten Commandments. Read them, study them, that is what sin is.

Smoking is a sin when you put it before God. After that it's no different than overindulging in doughnuts, lying around the house all day doing nothing, driving too fast, etc. It's not healthy, but it's not a sin.

I'm not actually christian..I'm a Muslim..and in my book its written that everything a human does that hurts him or hurts others is supposed to be forbidden..and i think theres sumthing like that in the bible too, that's why some Christians say that alchole is forbidden as it damages the liver..somokin damages the lunge and causes lung cancer and block the bronchioles and destroy them like a baloon when it is inflated to the end..um..i dont know how to say this in English..but u know..when it is filled with air very much that its damaged..and it also produces tar which stops the cells in the the trachea from working(epithelial cells) and blood pressure and blood clotting and heart deseased and causes asthma and u also hurt others by negative smokin and whole bunch of other things..AND U STILL DONT BELEIVE ITS FORBIDDEN????? hope that helped:)..God bless

I don't see in the Bible where ANY sin is justifiable, simply forgivable. There is no middle ground, sin is sin and since we all do it then it is rather impolite and dangerous to be pointing out the sins of others. Watch where you are putting that finger..

You asked a question like this not too long ago. Yes, I am a born again Christian and I DO NOT SMOKE and I do not justify other proclaimed Christians to smoke either. Our body is our temple and to smoke pollutes it.

You need to learn to construct sentences before you can construct an argument.

Smoking is not technically a sin. The christian "god" has never spoken out about it, anyway. I do agree that it's a filthy habit, however.

I don't believe in sin.

But according to your logic, swithing on the light would be a sin too. It pollutes the planet.

How can Christians lure people to see the Light, if they can't even switch it on?
