I am also seeking for biblical explanation but I think Adam could be white and Eve black. The Tower of Babel forced men to group themselves based on the languages they spoke and they traveled to discover the faraway lands and settled there. Geographic locations then helped shape the races of men.

It doesn't explain it but there are 'theories'. Some say it has to do with the events after the Tower of Babel where God not only separated people by language he also may have decided to change people genetically to separate them even more.

And/or, the groups of people that spoke the same language stuck together and moved to different areas. With small groups of people, inbreeding was rampant and everyone passed on the same traits, over and over, until each language group ended up looking only like each other and nothing like the people who spoke other languages.

The last theory I read about had something to do with Adam and Eve possessing the genes to be able to have children of all different colors. After the Flood, supposedly it's possible that Noah's family consisted of people of all different races plus people of mixed race. They went on to populate the world with people of all different colors.

I think it all sounds preposterous but that's what I found on one Bible website.

I think this is supposed to be a tribute to the tower of bable. When man spoke one language had one country and were completely united and decide to build a tower to go and see/speak with god. But as the bible put it god was upset that man was becoming as great as he/it/them and so he knocked down the tower and in doing so divided their languages.
And because one couldn't understand the other there was wars and distruction. The people decided to be with people who spoke their languages and so as many groups they sperated throughout the world to claim a steak of land and defend it against others.

That's because there isn't one.

But I suppose God did it, just like everything else apparently.

Oh, except sin and evil of course.

Tee hee.
