In my Bible, God tells us in the 10 commandments to rest on the seventh day. I was told that SUNday is the worship of the SUN god. If this is true, please tell me why thousands of so called Christians go to church on SUNday?

In the bible there is no definite day in the calendar that sabbath is sunday but it is on the 7th day .

The calendar now which we are using is called The Roman calendar because this calendar was made and changed by the Roman Catholics from the Hebrew calendar. The number of days in a month were changed, the days were changed and the months were changed. They made Sunday as the 7th day in a week then decclared that the Roman Calendar should be followed entire the earth or world.

Sabbath is not a day but a resting day for having a work for six days but according to the bible in Jesus teachings, sabbath could not be observe when you work for ones good like the medical attention for the sick people.

The true Sabbath is Friday sundown to Saturday sun up. This was/is the sabbath followed by the Hebrews/Jewish people and even before them for centuries. After the death of Jesus the Sanhedrein (high Priest) and the Roman church saw that so many were becoming christian they tried to control the church. One of the things they did to control it was change sabbath to Sunday because some of the people converting were used to worshipping the sun god as well as other gods. This is know as the Sunday Law.There are many things the church done to rule/control the people that changed the original ways of worship of the Jewish/christian people.

If you read your Bible where the sabbath is introduced you will see that the sabbath is not a "day" but a "rest". There were many sabbaths given in the Levitical law and the one day in seven was only one of them. Each of the major holidays began with a sabbath and often ended with a sabbath, regardles of which day of the week it was. The church began on Sunday (Pentacost) an every seventh day from that beginning is obviously a Sunday also. The church still follows the principle of the law but not necessarily the same day as Israel.

Christians observe the sabbath on Saturday. Thus they have church on Sunday. The sabbath is a day of Rest.

The seventh day is Saturday isn't it? I think that's why the Jews have Saturday as their day of rest. Christians worship on a Sunday though because Jesus was crucified on Friday and resurrected on Sunday so it marks the greatest moment in history.

Most Christians observe the sabbath on Sunday (with the exception of seventh day adventists who observe it on Saturday). Jews observe the sabbath on Saturday (beginning Friday at sunset and ending Saturday at sunset) and the holy day of the week for Muslims is Friday.

Because in "Rome" they worshiped the Sun god Mithras (Who was also a savior god and the Son of The most High God of the FIRST monotheistic religion "Zoroastrianism)
And when Christianity came worship the SON of god and god of the SUN, mithras, on Sunday was already the norm so instead of changing their lifestyle they just went about there day :)

it was originally Friday in jesus's time, and place.

If you know Spanish, the answer would be obvious. The Sabbath is Sabado, or Saturday. This is the traditional holy day of the Jews. For Christians, its Sunday. In Spanish, its Domingo. God's day.

Now forget semantics. Its not important.
