well, where do i start. they all believe in the same thing. what mummy told them. i'm with Dawkins on this one. evolutionary, it's an advantage to believe what your parents tell you. don't go in that cave, a bear will eat you. child staying away from cave has a much better chance of survival than a child who ignores what they're told, and ventures into the cave. yum yum, says the bear.

religion is just an extension of this. a way of teaching, through parable and fable. then some bright spark(s) had an idea. tell people what to believe, and tell them what they can and can't do. oh, and watch the cash roll in.

money and power. end of. now, having said all this, it doesn't mean that there isn't a god after all, but hey, do you think any real god would want anything to do with the corruption and perversity that is organised religion?

hmmm

These 3 religions are stemming from the same root, Abraham, BUT none of the tree agree with the 2 others, each one of them is convinced (some fanatically) that THEY are the only true religion, and will fight the 2 others, - ergo - no peace between them, as stupid this may sound is is true ! they worshiping the SAME GOD, the God of Abraham.
The problem is caused by : NO tolerance and or respect toward the "other" religions,

The only thing I can think of that we all have in common is reverence for Jerusalem. Jews and Muslims are ready to fight for it at a moment's notice, and Christians will back the Jews.
Jews and Christians pray to the God of Israel, which is not the Allah of the Muslim faith.
I truly don't see any hope for true peace until Jesus comes back and makes it that way.
He came the first time as a suffering servant. When He returns, it will be as King, and Judge, and will make all things right.

peace and blessings to you

You answered yourself - we human beings are the worst sufferers. Once we all recognize each other as fellow human beings (not just various religions) and understand the human suffering and toll, peace could come. The radical fanatics of each of these faiths have lost sight of the fact that human life is very precious. Like the arch rivals in Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" - "all are punished."

Jews and Christians can live in peace. It's Islam that is the violent religion. Their koran and hadith specify that all infidel (non muslims) must submit to allah or die and they also prophesy that the whole world must come under islam rule. If it doesn't, their religion and god has been proved to be false and they won't let that happen. I'm afraid there will be a climactic war before there's peace.

Christianity is a branched religion from Judaism.

The bible is divided you have,

OLD TESTAMENT - This is the book followed by jews ,previous to Jesus birth
NEW TESTAMENT - This is the book of Jesus's Birth Life and death, disregarded by the jewish faith.
So there is a big link,

And Islam, the quaran recognises Jesus Christ as a prophet of Alla, muck like the prophet Mohammed.

The thing they all have in common is that a great number of their followers have a cultural, rather than a Universal interpretation of their religion- hence the conflict.
They are all Abrahamic faiths and all recognise Jesus as a prophet.

What a wonderful goal. Unfortunately, the WACKOS from these religions will make sure peace doesn't happen. I hate to be cynical but I'm still amazed over this "crusader" cr

this is glaring that no longer all Muslims are terrorists in any different case 2 billion human beings interior the international could be engaged in perpetual conflict! i like to think of that the super and vast majority of Muslims are basically greater human beings like us, attempting to make it for the period of the day and make adequate money to place nutrition on the table. If the female in Islam decides to divorce her husband, needs to publicly declare herself a gay atheist, and then write a e book denouncing her former Islamic faith - could Islam enable her to attain this without punishment, harassment or threats? Your apologetics are high-quality, perchance even welcome because it reminds us that there are Muslims who're committed to peace and cooperation between all peoples. yet yours continues to be the remoted voice of an idealist. You and that i the two understand that for the period of maximum factors of the Islamic international that the above occasion could by no ability be tolerated and we are able to the two think of poor punishments befalling a woman who did this. it particularly is very the crux of the argument for secularism - this is the persons decision. no longer the call of the state, no longer the call of any God, no longer the call of a holy e book or faith. helpful in a mundane international the religion can attempt a criminal action over slander in the event that they think of the female has written something outrageously unfair, however the factor is that i do no longer think of maximum Islamic states are everywhere close to to being waiting to permit guy or woman decision in concept to come again earlier non secular doctrine. yet a minimum of you renowned that it particularly is via cultural entrenchments and not inevitably a ingredient of the religion itself. i in my view reject the theory no longer basically of mandated modesty for the sexes, yet in addition reject the theory that ladies and adult men persons have diverse roles to play in society. i've got faith that infringes the organic freedom that should be accorded to all human beings regardless of gender or sexuality. As for the subject related to God, as an atheist i'm no longer likely moved the two way as i ultimately have faith all of them to be persons memories. My basically subject is that religions play severe high quality mutually and settle for a easy bond of humanity. see you later as Islam, or the different faith can proceed to try this then we are able to get alongside basically high-quality.

We can, but will we? All three groups believe that they are worshipping God, so there is our common ground. The problem comes when extreme religionists try and insist that others must agree with them.
