yes, it does. when i was in my teens, my doctor put me on a caffeine-free diet, and chocolate was one of the things i wasn't allowed to eat... (along with mints, coffee, tea & cola)
if u want an alternative to chocolate, try having a look for Carob products in health food shops..... it's a chocolate substitute, and although it's not as nice as chocolate, it does taste nice, and is better than nothing !

yes it does Chocolate contains a variety of substances, some of which have an effect on body chemistry. These include: Sugar Theobromine, the primary alkaloid in cocoa and chocolate[75] and partly responsible for chocolate's mood-elevating effect Tryptophan, an essential amino acid and precursor to serotonin Phenethylamine, an endogenous alkaloid sometimes described as a 'love chemical;[76] it is quickly metabolized by monoamine oxidase-B and does not reach the brain in significant amounts Caffeine, present only in very small amounts[75] small amounts, which means your cookie probably had barely any

Only a little, but it also contains several other types of related chemicals called 5-methyl-xanthines. Many of these have similar effects to caffeine (anxiety, insomnia, acid reflux, palpitations). Therefore, even though the amount of caffeine in chocolate is low, it is still should be limited the same way caffeine is, e.g. avoid eating it before bedtime.

Yes, but nowhere enough like in Coca cola or Coffee. The mood-uplifting effect of the caffeine in chocolate is minimal.

Yes.
If you want/need to avoid caffeine then carob is a pretty good substitute for chocolate. You can get it in health food shops.

Yes and the reason why girls like it so much is because it releases the same hormones as when they are having sex. At least that's what i've been told.
Don't buy your girlfriends chocolate!
