You don't have to loose wight, get fit or go on a diet, but look at it this way....

There are a whole lot of horrible health problems which can befall you if you are overweight & unfit.

The human body is not designed to be such, your heart and other organs take a hell of a beating if you are too overweight.

No have toos, just a choice about your life really. Why moan and complain about what is a fact?

I like to think I stay in pretty good shape and I couldn't agree more with you. I blame our culture for trying to make people think that in order to be attractive you must be skinny or buff. I have alot of friends who tell me they are going to go on a diet and the reasons they give me are just crazy. My whole thing is, if your happy with who you are as a person don't let someone else tell you how your supposed to look. Your body style is part of what makes you who you are. You personality, your character, your individuality. If your gonna go on a diet, do it for health reasons and stick with it. It's not seasonal. But love who you are. And if people don't like you, find people who do. And get rid of the ones who bring you down.

Because the rate of obesity in the US is like over 60% now. Obesity is very unhealthy and can lead to many different diseases and conditions, such as diabetes, heart disease, and high blood pressure resulting in cardiac arrest or stroke. To modify ones diet to include healthier choices such as fish, chicken, grains, and fruits and vegetables, in addition to adhereing to a strong cardio-workout regimen should get one back into shape and add years to their life expectancy.
