It's hilarious since that type of display is always generated by those who have some outrageously desparate need to push their so-called "scientifically-minded", anti-theistic agenda. None of these types are REAL scientists, of course. Therefore, right off the bat, their displays serve to prove theists are way more intelligent.
Educated people, including REAL scientists, know:
(1) Scientific THEORIES are UNPROVEN IDEAS, regardless that any given theory is "the best unproven idea", and
(2) Scientific HYPOTHESES are UNPROVEN GUESSES, which means anyone's guess is as good as anyone else's.
Intelligent people also know that whatever scientists propose today as a guess or an idea will suddenly change should a contradicting variable "show up", and then it's: "Oooops, that guess or idea is wrong" and it's back to the drawing board for the scientists.
PS: Anti-theists need to know their game has run its course.

Kinda both. Mainly cos' hes the one who needs to get his facts right. Most, stroke that, ALL scientests generally aggree that the earth is a lot older than 6000 years. the general concept among scientists is that the earth is more like 400 billion years old. Maybe HE should do his homework.

Wow. Science, English, and even repetition (6000-1000) are all taking a big hit today.
Wouldn't it be weird if your religion told you that the world wouldn't exist until 1000 years after the Messiah came?
The response above me also hurts. She needs a swift kick in the butt. Then she can have a grand old time trying to prove infallibly that someone kicked her in the butt.

Heh, heh, hilarious.
I think that person was only trying to be funny.
I mean, look at how he emphasized those certain words with capital letters, the way he wrote "6000-1000" instead of "1000-6000", and the way he wrote the amen (as an acronym).
Hilarious!

I would say that it was Hilariously Sad. It is pathetic that we would laugh about somebody that is mentally disabled... But is pretty funny, specially to see how people take a book so literal. I am Cristian not stupid, and it does not take a scientist to know that the bible has a lot of symbolism.

there is comedy in tragedy, the Greeks knew this a long time ago. I like the interesting spelling, the assertion, and the insult. Bingo on all three counts.

I don't find it funny at all, just deeply depressing and very very frightening. These are the sort of people pushing to get a fundie into the whitehouse. Can you imagine what they would do if they got access to all of americas WMDs and wanted to bring about the rapture?
Atheism. You know it makes sense.
