This is why we descended to the physical plane (Earth). Restlessness in Heaven (bliss). It will happen over and again. There is no beginning, there is no end.

The "saying" of people about happiness and sadness which you have stated is not always true to intelligent people.
What is meant in having eternal life in heaven is when judgment come where Jesus Christ return to judge us. It does not mean that because you want to go heaven that you want to die now.No. You will not immediately go to heaven and yet you could not certain that you can go to heaven because it is God who will judge us.

Absolutely not! Meeting my Savior, face to face and thanking Him continually would not get boring. Neither would talking with my millions and millions of brothers and sisters in Christ -people from every tribe, tongue and nation, exploring God's vast creation without the limits of ordinary space or time.
An eternity with total love, without fear, pain, death, dying or rejection.
The idea that it would be boring or tedious is a lie from Satan. He knows what heaven was like and since he no longer lives there, he tries to keep as many as possible from having what he's missing out on.

I'm sure once the boredom set in, you.d get in an argument with another citizen of heaven. Maybe have a fight and lop his head off.
Then you'd realize you cant' really die and make up. At that point you'd probably go knock back some drinks and make bets about which currently living celebrities are going to heaven or hell.

Are you kidding?
Surrounded by love and beauty, filled with the vitality of God, we will continually be more and more renewed. It's like filling up with light on the inside. We won't get tired or worn out.
We will have an eternity of fun, adventure, and love. What's not to like?
Here on earth you have to make choices, because there is not enough time in life to pursue all potential interests. In heaven we will never run out of time to try new things, explore new places, learn new skills.
Remember that God is not a static God. He likes to create things. He isn't going to stop once we're in heaven with Him. He'll let us do things with Him, and He won't let us get bored. Hmm...who invented the concept of playing? Would that be God? And even work is play when you are doing what you love to do.
It's called Paradise for a reason. Hope you have your ticket! (Personal faith in Jesus' sacrifice on the cross).

concept scary question. the main, i think of is that our tendency as human beings to get bored, is a factor of our nature as actual beings. we want stimulation and entertainment, and we get this by using our 5 senses: e.g. examining a e book or listening to song. although, as quickly as we die, our spirit is severed from those attachments, and for this reason they don't look to be a controversy. The distractions of the particular international are not to any extent further a controversy for us..... One reason to inspire us for religious progression is that as quickly as we bypass directly to the subsequent existence, our subject would be partly desperate via what we've set our hearts on: St Paul says the physique of ideas on the Flesh is death, however the physique of ideas on the spirit is existence. So if we concentration our needs on the religious, and not the earthly, our reward would be great. desire that helps. Peace

Too much of anything is boring - I used to think that if I can watch TV all day and stay in my airconditioned room without having to worry about anything would make me happy... I tried that for almost 6 months but it kinda gets old after a while so I don't think I would like to keep on smiling for eternity... but I don't want to get burned in hell either... hehehe

See: Buddhism :P
You just about summed up the Buddhist interpretation of heaven and the practice of Buddhism is seeking enlightenment (nibbana) which is the cessation of attachment and craving and therefore the end of continuation and suffering.

I understand the attraction of believing in an afterlife...I really do. I wish I believed in it. It is an appealing concept.
But I never understood what was attractive about the Christian heaven . SInging God's praises for eternity???, I just couldn't see the point of it at all.
Why go to all the trouble of creating everything, the fall of man, Noah, Moses, Jesus on the cross, making us believe all that to save us from him burning us for nonbelief and the only alternative is praising his awesomeness for the rest of time??
No thanks.

Heaven is a boring place. The religion that created it didn't realize that the human spirit needs challenge. With out it, boring, boring, boring.
