The Americans already lost the Iraq War. The warmonger President and his blind followers just hadn't conceded yet. Fifty years from now, long long time after the American butts were kicked out of Iraq, those fools would still not admit that America lost in the Iraq War. They will give the same lousy excuse that they did not lose any battle and blame their congress for withdrawing their troops. Just like in Vietnam, they never learn because of their bloated and overblown egos. Fools will always be fools.

Depends very much what you think the war objectives were. If it was to get rid of one murderous regime, then they have been accomplished. If it was to do that AND set up a new system of government, etc.., then, no, that is failing.

But, the same has happened in many other countries over time whenever you created a vacuum without thinking too much of the consequences.

Personally, though, I do not agree with the stand France took not Russia nor China. if it were for them, the world would be populated by terrorist governments only. Chirac was no better in offering alternatives than Bush was to doing something about it.

how do you get we lost? Iraq is no longer a threat to its neighbors and Saddam is no longer in power. Most of the factions have ben killing each other for centuries we can solve all their problems. But we didnt lose the war. Politically its a nightmare but that happens.

Here is what the media does not want you to see:

Note at the bottom lists only one third of the Iraqi troops that are actually trained, equipped and out on their own. Those troops not mentioned need more training and or more equipment. The Iraqi president says that will happen in June 2007.

It's better to put it this way. Rather than saying that US has lost the war, it's better to say, people in Iraq are making it difficult to win the war.

No, because we haven't lost the war in Iraq. We lost hundreds of thousands in WW2 (many liberating your country from the Nazis) and we still won the war; on two fronts (Europe/Pacific).

So please, spare me the nonesense. Mon Ami!
