You have a great car by the way. Working for Nissan I would say that is a bit high on the mileage. More than likely that car was a fleet vehicle (most likely with those miles on it like a rental car) Not necessarily a bad thing, but not a good thing either. Because Nissan only offers a 3 year 36,000 mi bumper to bumper warranty that cuts down on your warranty a great deal. I would look into a Nissan extended warranty for i believe a 7 year 100,000 warranty and that should put your mind at ease.

not really if they're mainly highway miles as these don't wear to badly on the engine or other components like in town stop & go driving does. although for resale people will tend to be skeptical. 2007 models were available for delievery in September of 2006, so it could be eight months old making the mileage less than 3000 mi per month.

I am surprised that the former owner had time to stop driving long enough to sell it. Leased cars some times have lot's of miles fast just as long as you can verify the oil changes you will be ok. Check the air filter too. 3.5 liter maxima's are great cars. Happy Motoring!

most manufactures use 12,000 miles per year as an average for warranty's and leases. usually, it's a little closer to 15,000 or so. with that many miles on an 07, it sounds like you just bought a rental car. not generally a bad thing, but they do tend to get beat on by the customers. wouldn't hurt to have it gone through by a Nissan dealer or your mechanic.

Yeah thats a lot of miles for a 2007. Most people average12000-15000 per year, so whoever owned it before you did a lot of driving. I hope you got it for much cheaper than blue book!

It would mean the car was driven 183 miles every day, if we assume that they started on January 1st. People don't drive that much. That's like 3 hour commute. I don't know how is that possible, unless that car was a fleet vehicle, not a private car.

Holy cow!! I would say majorly too much milage for a 2007. Most people don't even go over 10,000 miles in a year.
