If it hinders your life you should do something about it. I'd suggest a counsellor, not necessarily a psychiatrist, they're pill pushers.

I was just like you when i was younger. I was always afraid that someone was going to die or that i was going to die. I always felt like someone was making fun of me or something . And the trust issue was a big problem in my life for several years i felt like some one was always out to get me or hurt my family in some way or another. I was always looking behind my back. To answer your question it is not normal behavior but you are not alone i went to a doc and they proscribed me medicine which really helped and know those feelings i had are not as strong as they were before i can live a normal life. Good luck

Have you ever had an experience or witnessed an event where your life or someone next to you was directly and seriously threatened? Did you respond with intense fear, helplessness or horror?
If you answered yes to both questions, your symptoms may be part of a pattern of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). If so, you may find getting evaluated by a psychiatrist and discussing treatment options may be helpful.
People with PTSD frequently describe a sense of impending doom or that life will be shortened somehow. They also frequently feel edgy, like they have to be on their toes all the time, and they will frequently dwell on memories of the terrifying event, or even have memories or images come to mind without seeming to be able to control them.
If any of this sounds familiar, do consider speaking with a psychiatrist. Good luck!

sometimes people just feel that way, that they feel people are talking about them and have trust issues. what bothers me is the fact you feel that someone is going to die, and something bad is going to happen, that to me sounds more like anxiety, if i may say so. anxiety comes from stress that you may not be able to identify. seeing a mental health professional probably will be able to help you alleviate these problems. realizing that you have this problem, is a step in the right direction, and with some help, you will probably feel alot better for it. good luck

I am not a Dr and not one to diagnose any issue, but it sounds like you could have some anxiety issues going on or maybe even depression or both. I think you should see a Dr and get this figured out before it gets far worse. It very well could turn out to be nothing. Better safe than sorry....

While your thoughts are common in the population, they are on the outside of being "normal".
I, myself have been prescribed medication for similar symptoms. Counseling has also helped me.
You don't have to live with these thoughts and feelings. Start by seeing your Dr. or a counselor.
