I have not modified my car any. I have the V6, 250 HP. I would like to add about 30-50 more horsepower.

Buy after market parts

Will most likely be expensive since Nissan is foreign

And it also depends on having a automatic or Manual

Transmission upgrades can increase acceleration without touching the horsepower

get intake, headers and greddy evo2 exhaust. i have a 2006 altima SE-R and have done all these as well as port, poslished and gutted out my intake plenum. it is separated into to shelves for the runners, 3 on top and 3 on bottom i cut out that whole shelf so its all open i also removed the power valve located on the left side of the manifold. i also have a 75 shot of nitrous... the car moves now.

Anything you do to increase HP will more than likely void the warranty. If you want 300 HP, go buy a car with a V8.

Add a nitro.
Get a tune-up
Clean/replace the air-filter
Use detergent gas and performance additives
Get new tires that will grip the road better
Use the highest octane gasoline you can find

i have an 02 altima. I have intake, headers, exhaust and technosquare reflashed ecu. Do this to your car and will be very pleased.

cant do much
but you can chang all stock filters with k@N or if they dont have your model use fram (gas,oil,air,etc)
then get a "tornado" it helps with the gas to oxygen ratio

use high octane fuel
tune up
all this will add about 15-25 hp
if this isnt enough...buy american made
it will open alot more options for souping up
