My GF and i made love last Wednesday. It was unprotected, but i terminated it on right time. Now it's almost a week after that time, and she is experiencing abnormal secretion! Her period was supposed to start 04/23, but it didn't! what does it mean? Is it normal for a first timer? I should say that right now she is really sick from throat infection, could this fact delay her period?

Pulling out doesn't work. There's a name for people who use that method of birth control--parents.

She probably isn't pregnant this time...the timing isn't right (unless she ovulated later this month than usual). If she's got an infection and is taking antibiotics, her secretion (which is called a vaginal discharge) is probably from a yeast infection. They're really common when a woman is taking antibiotics. The discharge from a yeast infection is white and sometimes chunky and itchy. It can be treated with OTC medication. She will not be able to have intercourse while she's using the medication, but there's no point in starting the medication until she's done with the antibiotics. A yeast infection is not a STD, but it can be passed to a man during intercourse, especially if he is uncircumcised.

Your girlfriend's period is probably late because of stress. It sounds like you are stressing her out even more (I saw your other post about abortion). Since her period is late, buy her a home test (and think about how much cheaper a condom would have been). If the test is negative, she should test again a week later if she hasn't started her period. If that test is negative and there's still no period, she should see a doctor.

And I'm sure you already know this, but you need to find a reliable form of birth control. You need condoms. She needs to be on the pill, patch, shot, IUD, or whatever else her doctor suggests. Even when she's on birth control, you need to use the condoms.

News Flash!!!! You secrete sperm the whole time you are having sex not just during ejaculation. Next time use protection. She could have a yeast infection esp if she is on antibiotics from the sore throat. If this was not your first time you could have a std and passed it to her. She needs to be checked by a doctor and in 5 days if she doesn't start her period buy a good home pregnancy test. Having a sore throat usually doesn't delay your period. Good luck to the both of you.I hope she's not pregnant and please Educate yourselves before you get into something you can't handle.

If she's stressing over not being on time it could be causing the late period. Having a secretion could mean that something is torn or she has an infection from any tearing she might have had. If you really want to be sure have her do a pregnancy test...if it's positive make certain she goes to the doctor soon. Having a throat infection (which probably is strep-throat or laryngitis) will not delay a period.

termination right on time with no protection is like playing russian roulette. she needs to go to the doctor and get checked. she might not be pregnant, but she could have some kind of infection, maybe not an STD, but a yeast infection that is making her discharge abnormal.

next time use a condom.

I would definetly have a check up to make sure neither of you have std's and it probably would be a good idea to buy a pregnancy test aswell just to be sure. Was she a virgin? She might have thrush which is normal for women to get but more so after intercourse

yes being sick like having a virus or infection can throw your period off... tell her just to go buy a cheap test to make sure she is not preg,... but in the future it would be a good idea to use protection or tell her to get on birhcontrol. but I dont think she is good luck
