Translating it would say Te amo Amigo. But we don't usually say it that way. We say Te quiero amigo.

ja ja ja that is easy little girl. . . . if U gonna say it to a boy u can say. . . . "te amo amigo" . . . .and if is a girl u must say. . . . "te amo amiga. . . . just change the last letter.

my guy who is from Mexico, says you would be disrespectful by saying 'i love you, friend' you should say 'te quiero, mucho'
which translates as 'i like you, alot'. he has been trying to teach me for several months now, but i think i am spanish illiterate. LOL

Don´t use "te amo" for somebody who is just a friend.
