I HAD RECIEVED AN E-MAIL SAYING I WON A LOTTERY WHO'S SPONSERED BY YAHOO,MSN,&MICROSFT WINDOWS & , BY BEING ONLINE THRU EITHER HOTMAIL OR YAHOO. IT SAYS I WON $500,000.00 & MUST RESPOND WITHIN 20 DAYS TO CLAIM IT SENDS THAT THE LOTTERY IS FROM THE YAHOO.U.K. IS THIS A BUNCH OF BULL.

Yes it is a scam, they will ask for 2000-3000 dollars as a fee to get you the money, and once they have your money they are gone. I have won that lottery like 25 times already.

I received a similar email and even though I did not reply the message contained a virus!!!! If you read "You have won" for example in the message header and you have not entered any contest DO NOT OPEN the email.

Someone else asked a similar question not to long ago. Sounds like a scam.

if you read further it will say that you have to provide the winning ticket number and some other info. it is most likely a scam so they can get more email addresses. be careful what info you give them.
