we've been going out for a week & always have a lot of fun together, i see him every day in school & we hung out fri/sat/sun & he came to my game today too...we've known eachother for a year, we're hs seniors & neither of us has ever dated anyone before....but regardless of all this we havent even held hands/hugged/etc yet.....is this normal?

maybe both of you are to afraid to make the first move, it is the first time and all. you should at least hug, i hug people all the time, if you let it go to long, then you all wont feel the need to hold hands or kiss or hug, just kiss him and see what happens!!! good luck chicka

Kindof... next time in the hallway or out at lunch at school or when you guys are out walking together, grab his hand and start swinging your hands back and forth. It takes the pressure off of him and is a fun easy way to do it.

Take your time. When the time is right, you will get closer. Yes, it is normal to be shy when you first start dating.

of course, if u just started dating then its gonna be akward for the first couple days weeks, depends on u guys, just don't be afraid to make the first move like holding hands hugging etc. just be yourself :)
