It won't hurt to go to your dentist. They now can do numerous things without harming the baby.

When you are pregnant, most women having bleeding gums. It gets swollen and red. Continue to floss, brush. For some reason, you get gigivitas more often during this time. Some people also get "bumps" along the gumline that go away after pregnancy. See a dentist if this was happening already before the pregnancy. Receding gums can also be caused by gum disease or brushing too hard. Go with extra soft bristles. You doctor can take skin from the roof of your mouth and stitch it to where the gums have receded. But of course it depends on how they've receeded. I would suggest you see a doctor to make sure everything is in tip top shape. All 4 of the females in my family have been pregnant 12 times combined and all have bleeding gums or bumps during pregnancy. The doc suggested they wait after the pregnancy to see if the bumps disapper (they did) or prescribed a rinse. All continued reg cleanings during the pregnancy. See a dentist, couldn't hurt. Good luck!

I don't think you could be showing a positive result just yet if it was your recent partner so I would have to think it is your ex. If you are planning to keep this baby you need have a paternity test to find out who's it is.

You MUST go to see your dentist. You do not want to lose your teeth and he will be able to diagnose what is happening and fix it.
