Guys come up to me, use a pick up line which I happen to think is cheezey.
My friends use lines and they work every time on a guy.

Well to be honest girls can find partners easier than guys can so we don't even need pick up lines. I could walk into a bar and yell I'm horny and I want to get f*&%ed tonight and chances are I would have about 20 guys lining up for the chance. If a guy did that chances are he would get laughed out of the bar. So guys constantly try to come up with cute pick-up lines hoping that we will laugh at them. They're suppose to be ice breakers anyway.

I think the closest any pick up line has come to working on me was this one cheesy line I got that sparked a very intersting and entertaining conversation that lasted the rest of the evening. We were discussing pick up lines, ones that work, ones that don't, ones that are creative and funny, ones that are just overused and stupid. It made for an interesting evening, and we parted ways at the end of the night. It was fun!

Pick up lines DO work for guys, too! The ones used for guys have to flow naturally with the conversation.

Because as soon as a girl walks toward a guy to say anything, he's already 'picked up' so the lines aren't needed at all.

actually it is the other way around. lines don't usually work on girls. they think they are cheesy. however they can work on guys. but some guys are so shocked and stupid they don't react. lol
