He said he liked you? Wow...guess what? He doesn't like you more than her. Those are the facts. If he did then you wouldn't be posting this question. Guys that put girls in this situation are selfish and only love themselves. Find a single man and get with him. This guy will stay with his girlfriend and if he doesn't then he will get with you and do you the same way he is doing her. You don't won't that!

Are they still together or are they broken up? In the heading of your question, you imply they're together, but in the question itself, you state they are broken up. Which one is it?
If they are still together, I'd say let them be. If he doesn't like her but he likes you, he should break up with her and date someone he does like.
Then again, if they are already broken up, and he's claiming he likes you, but she's hanging on to him, I'd leave him be. Noone likes a clingy ex, especially if you're starting out in a new relationship.

If he truly wants to break up with her, he will. He's not a baby who needs mommy's guidance "There Johnny-love, thaaaat is how you break up with someone". As for you, may I suggest not messing with guys who are taken. Find your own meat.
