I am glad you are not my Mommy. First of all children spill...they make messes, they break things and they are noisy....that is what they do and how they learn. Teach them patiently and quietly, pray with them and be very consistent. Here are a few verses. "But Jesus said, Suffer(to permit or allow)little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 19:14 "Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged." Colossians 3:21"Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth. And ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord." Ephesians 6:1-4 "He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes." Proverbs 13:24 There is one that says, "Beat them while there is still time", but I could not find it...will let you know if I find it. There must be a balance and consistency and prayer. not to be rude,
but you do not sound like a good parent
try some parenting books
the only thing that scaring your child will do, is scare your child.
maybe it will make them not spill their milk tomorrow, but when they get to college all they are gonna want to do is spill milk - just to defy you.
do some research, be a better mother, instill SELF control (as opposed to external control) in your children and they will thank you for it instead of resenting and fearing you.

Normally I would not bother to answer a question posed with such nonsense but I fear that someone out there who does not know God just might take you seriously...so here goes.
Children should not be taught to fear God. We obey out of love for him...and a respect for who and what He is...not out of fear of what He might do if we disobey. Yes, children need to know that there are consequences to disobedience of God, of parents, of teachers etc. but it can not be the focus point.

You should let your children explore every religion don't force them. Many people I know after taking science classes have doubted their religion. You shouldn't scare the bejeezez out of them as young kids.

You're not supposed to scare them. If they do get scared of God, then they will never be able to become His friends. How can you become friends with someone you're terrified of? Plus if you do that, God won't be very happy with ya.
