Doesn't sound that bad. Of course, I don't know what are the rates for airport transfer "executive cars" in your area.

Assuming $50 for typical transfer, 35% of $50 is 16.5 or so. Assuming 20 miles per trip, at current gas prices and the typical mileage of a Town Car or Lincoln, you make maybe $10-12 per trip. If you can do more than one per hour and about 10 a day you should make a decent living, esp. if you get to keep the tip (which would be most of your income), easily more than the pay from the company.

On the other hand, you may make more as a shuttle van driver. Somewhat lower class of clients, but more trips and more people, so more money overall.
