Little white things on my cats' rear end?

This sounds really weird, I will start off with that.

Okay, so my boyfriend said that his kitten has some teeny tiny little white things that have the consistency of a popped pimple. He found these after he pooped and it was on the fur near his tail and rear.. area... yeah his bum.

SOOOOOO the question is- what the heck is going on? Is there something wrong?

Those are tapeworms and you need to take your kitty to the vet and get some medicine. Over the counter wormers will not take care of tapeworms and your vet will weigh your kitty and dose it appropriately.
Once the kitty is wormed then it is up to you to get rid of the fleas. All tapeworms are carried by fleas. The worm eggs are in the flea, the kitten eats the flea and then the eggs hatch in the kitty and come out their butt...gross but this is how it works.
You will need to spray or powder the kitty or better yet, get some Advantage. You will also need to spray the yard, where the kitty sleeps and wash it's bedding if it has any. Get on top of the fleas now or they will take over.

Only way to be sure is to get kitty checked by a vet!

You could be describing a type of worm, many species of these are passed in the faeces. This is likely if your cat isn't up to day on her worming (with veterinary products, not pet shop ones).

There is a possiblity it could be pus from an infection - or something else entirely! Please go to a vet to get your answer.
