I want to convert windows media files into mp3 so I can put it on my phone. I usually listen to songs from Yahoo Music Jukebox, but a whole bunch of songs I got from a friend are Windows Media files and It plays in the Music Jukebox, but I can't load them up on my computer. I tried converting it through the Jukebox into Mp3 but I couldnt. Is there anyway I can do it through Windows Media player. I dont want to have a option to download another software to convert music files.
Thankyou

I had this same problem. Go to downloads dot com or someplace, look for file converter for mp3 I used Adensoft, because most of the others would only allow like 10% conversion. Adensoft was a bit annoying because every three songs was an interruption asking if I wanted to buy it, but in the long run it worked. Then before any further addition of music, go into Medea Players "Rip" settings and make sure it's set to rip as mp3.
Sorry I re-read the question, the only other option is to change the "Rip" setting and re-Rip all the stuff.

Try using media convert. It's a free website (a little confusing to use from all the ads posted on there, but you'll get it after a while). It sometimes takes 20 minutes to convert the file but it works!
