My hair is breaking and shedding so bad that the "top-back" portion of my hair has thinned out. I started Nexxus Emergencee and unlike other people's experience, I'm still experiencing bad breakage. I did some research again online and I've read good reviews on Aphogee products. I'm desperate (been crying for weeks now) and I want to give this a try. Has anybody used this before?

Btw, the reason my hair is breaking and shedding is that I had a retouch for my straightened hair. I had the first time done in the Philippines - they call it rebonding. I had the retouch here in the US a year after last February - the lady calls it Japanese straightening. The first one was super great, the retouch was horrible. My hair has been shedding since the treatment, but didn't do any action (confident I have a lot of hair) until recently when i'm really scared i'm getting bald. Hair is falling off like crazy and i see it everywhere.

Please help!

BTW, the last time I used Nexxus emergencee was Friday night, if I ever use Aphogee, is it safe to use it after just 4 days? The breakage starts 1" inch off my roots. The rest of the hair are tolerable. From the back, it looks like my hair is parted in different parts because of the thinning.

All the chemicals are killing your hair. The same thing is happening to me so your not alone. I dyed my hair to much and the back is shedding and theres a large thin portion. Im guessing its from sleeping on the back and rubbing the rough cotton, breaking it or even pulling it out.

Buy a satin or silk pillow case. That will deff. make a difference. Only wash your hair every 4 days. I swear that will help to.
Ive been taking large amounts or B-Complex vitamins, Biotin, and eating a balanced diet. + a multi-vitamin.

My hair is growing back faster then usual. And the nutrients help for the future to make hair grow in strong.

I'm also lucky because my dad has thins thing called the HairMax. Its a cold beam laser that you use on the scalp.

Its $500 or $600 though =[. But my hair is growing faster b/c of that as well and also thicker.

Just take this as a lesson. Love your hair the way it is. Don't get it straightened. It is going to grow back. A year from now your going to be thinking. wow i cant believe i actually got through that and its over.

Okay. Don't panic and stop rubbing those expensive hair products onto your hair.

Hair breakage is permanent, and no sort of stuff you put it in there, no matter what they claim on the package, can restore the breakage just by applying it.

My advise is to get a haircut. Although it may seem like a pity to waste the rebond just like that, it's the only solution. Broken hair has to come off. Unless you want all your hairs to split and end up looking like some wacko. If you feel insercure about having short hair, maybe you should go for hair extentions.

Cut it off and start over... I'm sorry, but you'll have to cut it off anyway to get it even after breakage stops.
You could be using too many protein rich products on the hair and that can cause breakage... instead use cream moisturizers to add elasticity to the hair to reduce the breakage. Don't comb it as often, combing put stress on already weakened hair. Try hot oil treatments and add a little vitamin e...
Keep your scalp in top condition so that the new hair will grow back healthy.

You unfavorable component. I genuinely have hair loss too and mine is genetic. Do your spouse and youngsters have it too? The medical doctors were in basic terms as ineffective with me regrettably. make useful you devour a healthful eating routine and get a large number of iron and nutrition B. the in basic terms component that worked for me grow to be acupuncture. My hair were falling out for further or less 7 years and that i not in any respect idea it would want to advance again yet acupuncture quite helped. bypass to a chinese language therapist and do it straight away cos the longer you go away it, the a lot less in all likelihood it truly is it truly is going to advance again.

You need to get your hair cut short and keep it short till all new growth and stop the straighting don't do it no more,or the next time your hair will melt and they don't tell you this. that is basically all you can do...and take some Vitamins for your hair..

I think these other answerers are correct, but the only available product I can think of for you to try is Redken Extreme Anti-Snap leave-in treatment. It has worked wonders for me, but probably my damage is nothing compared to yours. It can be bought from hairdressers, maybe at Sally's Beauty Supply? and I have also bought it at Ulta. Hope this helps.
