My 2 cats are ALWAYS eating the catnip that I give to them and they crap it out along with whatever else that they eat - catnip is so small that it doesn't show up in the poop, but it's there!

Are you for real? Did you eat the catnip and wonder when you will crap it out? You know that catnip is safe for people as well as cats. It can be made into a tea, etc.
Your cat will only eat as much as your cat wants to eat and enjoy the buzz. Then the catnip will be passed through like any other food.
I give my cats catnip all the time - as a live plant, dried stalks, crushed and applied to scratchers, a sprinkle on their food like oregano sometimes or whatever way they want it. They don't always want it, but when they do, they know where they can enjoy it.
Try it with your cat sometime. You might have an enjoyable evening relaxing with your cat in front of the boob tube.

That's what cats do with catnip. They roll around in it, eat it and get high. There shouldn't be any problem with puking or bowel movement.

well, you can do an experiment. Feed the cat corn, and then set a timer. When the poop comes out with corn in it, you can figure out how long it takes for food to digest in it's body.
or give it an enema if you don't wish to go through the hassle of digging corn out of it's poop
