DON"T Use Toothpaste. Toothpaste only makes the zit less red and smaller. It shrinks the zit, but eventually the zit will come back and get worse.
HEre are a bunch of solutions: Spaces seperate ideas
Combine:
Sweet almond oil
Exfoliating microbeads
Mix together and then rinse
From here put more of the oil on your face
Then blot with a towel
THIS IS ONLY FOR DRY SKIN
Soak a small cube of bread in milk,
then place on zit and keep there for 20 minutes
Take the inside of a tomato and place it on the zit.
Beat egg whites and put it on your face like a facial mask

Dry and/or greasy skin due to poor oil composition of the skin. Thick greasy oils clog pores, lack of oil leads to dryness and irritation. You need thin oils to moisturize while dissolving and clearing gunk in your poors. Try fish oil or seafood. 2 tsp fish oil a day or 4 servings of seafood a week. Stick it out for at least 2 months; it will take a long time to replace all your oil. Any effect after 1-2 days is temporary or random; so even if it makes you break out a little at first, you haven't given it a full try yet.
In the short term you can wash and moisturize well, but that will only go so far. Plus excessive washing can be drying and excessive moisturizing can be clogging. Use a small amount of a light moisturizer, made with oil not jelly or grease. Often that means soybean oil or mineral oil. Mineral oil means mined from the ground. So soybean oil is usually better, though mineral oil won't cause too much harm. Clean with soap and water, not a harsh acne cleanser. Even then they only work so well. So you really need the seafood.
Antibiotics aren't really good for bacteria long term, they'll come back in force after. Short term they may help. After you get off them find some kefir with acidophilus listed first or 2nd to replace the friendly bacteria they destroyed. Studies show less illness when you have these bacteria, even outside the stomach in places such as the lungs and elsewhere. You want friendly bacteria to fill the void when the antibiotics stop, not harmful ones.
In the short term you might also try 100,000+ iu retinol vitamin A (a megadose, and too much for normal use) or one of the acne drugs that is similar to retinol vitamin A. It's some minor harm to your organs, but it helps against bacteria on your skin. At least it doesn't have the other long term drawbacks to your skin that antibiotics and many scrubs do.
If you would like to learn how to treat your acne permanently and regain your health and wellbeing, without drugs, without typical acne treatments, and without any side effects, then this will be the most important letter you will ever read.

There are so many kinds of toothpastes out there - no one has told you which one. I had bad acne - both surface and cystic. For about a month, I would...exfoliate in the morning with St. Ives sensitive skin, and then wash with purpose or another non soap cleaner. At night, I would wash with a 3 purpose cream - like an antibacterial type with benzoil peroxide. If I was feeling really oily, I would use a toner to cut down.
It took EVERYTHING that I had, but I tried so hard not to squeeze or pick. I would only do it when there was a whitehead. And then, I would sanitize my hand, ice it down and use a kleenex to help with the redness and germs.
If something was coming up, I would use a spot cream, like a benzoil peroxide type of thing.
In a month, there was a HUGE difference in my skin. I have combination skin. I would only wear makeup when necessary, to keep my skin clear. Also, I threw all of my old makeup out, and bought all new, and sponges for foundation so i could replace them more often.
Hope these hints help!

i crush up some baby aspirin and sqeeze a little bit of orange juice or lemon juice on it- not the kind you drink but the kind that come from the actual fruit. then mix it up until it becomes a paste and then put it on the trouble spots and leave it on over night. the next morning you will see results. it really does work. and don't use toothpaste. thats caused me to break out even more. good luck!!!

nightly, and i mean every single night, beat an egg white and spread it on your face. let it dry. rinse with warm water. spread aloe vera gel (from the plant is the best) and leave it on all night. in the morning rinse your face. the egg white will extract the impurities from your face and the aloe vera will dry out the zits.
