I have not done this but have a few ideas so I'll put them here. First, you could look up your local military recruiter; I would think they could point in the right direction for donation. I believe that many newspapers have had stories about this; could go to the online version, search for soldier donation or something of that sort and see what they recommend. Finally, you could also contact a local armory or military base and ask them. I wish you the best in your endeavor; I am certain the soldiers would appreciate it.

i understand of no one that bashes the troops. i will, even if, proceed to bash the freaks who sent them into risk for no good reason. those scum (no longer the troops, people who sent them there) ought to stand trial for crimes against humanity. The troops are victims. maximum of them signed as much as take care of this u . s . and furnish centers for the period of organic mess ups. they have been betrayed. the only troops i've got ever talked airborne dirt and dirt approximately are people who committed torture and different offender acts (rather few of all troops). i've got by no ability heard every person else bash the troops, the two. this is a delusion. understanding this conflict exchange right into a gruesome mistake isn't the comparable as bashing the unfavorable souls compelled to combat it.

contact your local VFW center and link up with them and find out what supplies they are lacking and they can give you addresses and such to send packages to. you can also google "adopt a soldier" and different websites can give you hundreds of names and addresses to send things to. I know when I was there that care packages were such a big help.. and being female there were very few packages with female care items and they were very very appreciated.

Check out these websites and they will give you more information on what to do and the address.

You might start by just shaking their hand and thanking them when you see them out on the street. You can move up to buying them lunch occassionally later.
