Why not, when done you can use a few pages from the Bible to finish the toilet job.

I don't think so, If that is the only place that time slows down and you are not bothered, well then enjoy! I really don't think that God will be angry with you when you are seeking his word and his will. I think that the bathroom is a natural function and it gets rid of the garbage in our bodies the same way Jesus gets rid of the garbage in our souls. So, If this is a good time for you not to be bothered and it is a good time for you to read then I really don't think that God will be angry. Would you be angry with your child if they decided to read your letter to them when they were on the toilet? I don't think so, and I don't think that it bothers God either. As long as you are filling up with the Word of God is all that matters. So ENJOY!

I find that the Bible is great toilet reading. I keep mine on the septic tank. All the raping and pillaging and sacrificing and cursing and abominating and visiting unto the third and fourth generation really gets my pipes moving.

No,I do it all the time. It is worse to "enshrine" the Bible somewhere in one's house and never open the Book where God speaks to us. It is far,far worse not to read the Bible at all

In the Jewish tradition, the scriptures are not supposed to be in the presence of excrement; it's a matter of respect for the sacred writings.
I think Christians tend to be more flexible about it.
