Even good athletic shoes don't help and one doctor said it's plantar fasciitis, but that is supposed to hurt in the heel and be really bad in the morning---neither is true for me. The only thing that helps a little is ice.

Many times arch supports are more irritating to the arch instead of soothing Because they are basically causing your muscles to move in a different way, so it's like exercise . try going without the supports for a few days and see if that helps the pain.

I recommend you get a massage especially if you can find a therapist who does reflexology. reflexology is strictly working on the feet and many people have been helped through this technique.
