Cost is determined by artist and size. Inch by Inch will cost buck by buck. Color is also a factor sometimes. I think getting it in white would be awesome - careful IF you ever wanted it removed white is a bad idea - the only way to remove white is cutting or burning - lazors can't disinigrate white. But I think you'll be happy with is either way so that may not be an issue. Also as for position - bone hurts more than flesh but if they hit a nerve along the fleshy part nearer the junk and nearer the pelvic bones you might flinch - they'll let you know when you get to talkin'
enjoy that tat

Tattoos vary in cost, although you'll find the studios who charge in the mid-high range are usually the better ones. No matter where you get a tattoo it's going to hurt, but some places hurt more than others. From memory places with more muscle hurt more than places with more fat/flesh, although I could be getting that muddled.

The cost depends on the size. It also depends on the quality of the artist. Check with several artists in your area if they do good quality work they will not hesitate to quote you a price and answer any questions you might have. You don't have to go with the highest priced artist but I sure would not use the cheapest you could end out with bad work and other worse problems if you know what I mean.

No it wont hurt there, but just remember that that area is the first to get bigger if you gain weight. I love men with tattoos there, but not if they are stretched or warped, so you are really going to have to maintain your body to keep it pristine. Price will depend on how big you are going to have it done, but if you are just going for the black and grey, it wont be as expensive as color. If its going to be approximately 25cm (10 inches) wide them i would say about $150AU. But it really depends on your artist, mine charges by the hour, so a fiddly tattoo will take more time as will more colors.

I have a butterfly below my bellybutton and it was not painful. I am slim and that can sometimes cause tattoos to hurt worse but it did not hit any bones. As far as price only the artist you pick to tell you for sure.

If you want it big enough to be able to tell that that is a cassette tape in the middle ,then the thing is going to be big- hip bone to hip bone.

Hot design. It shouldn't be too painful.. I'd guess it'll be rather costly though.. I had one smaller than that on my lower back and it was $125 ... I'd say it'd be somewhere around $250-300 at the most..
Good luck and rock on!

The artist doing the work is the
only one who can set the price.
Some artist get $150 an hour.
Others charge less, you have
to ask the one doing your work.
It's going to hurt. They all hurt.
