I happen to be one of the few, here it seems, anyway, that like Sylvia Browne. Isn't it funny how most people are willing to accept most people as not being perfect, but when it comes to psychics, if they're not 100 percent right all the time, then they say that they're frauds. Remember, psychics are human, too. None of us can be right about everything all the time. Sylvia has done a lot of good. She's worked with police in helping to solve many crimes (at no charge). People shouldn't be so quick to judge. Being psychic is a God given gift.

I have not specifically checked out Sylvia Browne, but am personally very much into metaphysics - reincarnation, Qabalah, Astrology, etc. What I study is legitimate. There are misguided and even fake people in the metaphysical field just as there are in every religious movement. But if Sylvia is saying things that ring true to you, and are helping you to cast off the chains and enslavement that comes with all fundamentalism, then she is already doing you a favor. Believe in God(s) as you like, but realize that no one will spend the afterlife in blazes for using their mind, questioning everything, and taking a scientific attitude about spirit. The more you manage to raise your consciousness in your current life, the further ahead you'll be when you start your next one.

Katricia, if you have questions about what someone is saying you have to compare what the Word of God says about whatever is being said. In the book of 1 John there is a scripture which says to try the spirit by the spirit to see whether it is of God or not. So the only way you can tell if someone speaking by God, is if the Word of God backs it up. Also, you can asked God Himself. God does not desire anyone to be in confusion, but will give you an answer as whether something is of Him or not. The scripture says, if you put Words in God's mouth, He will prove you to be a liar.

You know it's wrong cause it IS wrong... "put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places" (Ephesians 6:11-12).
Fortune tellers deceive lots of people, Christians included. They may be able to tell the future but their work is through the devil and that's not what God wants. She can't be God-fearing if she doesn't obey God.

Follow your heart and embrace the things that bring you the most comfort.
God can be part of your spirituality.
It doesn't not mean you must follow one religion or another to be spiritual.
You can have a belief in a higher power and still believe in an afterlife... or even life on other planets.
Go with what fits you and makes you feel the best.
My personal opinion to Sylvia Brown is that she is a self absorbed individual who let show business go to her head.
I can't watch her because it ticks me off she is always gnawing on her middle finger pointing it at the audience.
A subconcious gesture????

It doesn't matter if she is telling the truth and is right about every thing she says it is still evil. If you are a Christian than the bible must be your final authority. but if it makes it any easier to let her go you should know that they are all fakes that is why they put the thing about them just being for entertainment purposes.

As I have said many times before Sylvia Browne is one of the biggest frauds (and douchbags) to ever walk the face of the earth. You must remember she charges $750 for a phone reading.

I understand why she is intriguing, I really do. But I gently and kindly suggest that you read the bible instead of following the things she says. Best to stick to the source, you know?
