I'm sick of these cooking show talking heads just saying add "a great virgin olive oil".

What brands are they talking about? Yes I know Pompeii sucks.

Extra virgin olive oil is the best and the most expensive. I get mine from the grocery outlet. I look for the best price and check the lid for tightness and the expiration for freshness.

I like Ybarra (Spanish) extra virgin olive oil. It tastes so good sometimes I think I could drink it, lol. I buy mine at Kroger and a bottle (not sure how large--I'd guess at least 16 - 20 oz.) is less than $7.
