How do I learn to text message without spelling each word?

I'm a mom and don't IM my bff or bf. I need to learn more about it for work. Are there any websites that can help?

well theres short qords like gtg- got to go
brb- be right back
and short stuf like nvm- never mind

or you can look in ur texting options and clcik on t9 word wich is you press only 1 once for B instead of pressing 1 twice

its sorta of complicated to say
