find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
dont try to lose more than 1-2lbs a week - its not healthy to lose more.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried - no junk food.

Your metabolism and how you eat and what you eat may hender your weight loss. Drinking water a lot helps! Try to reduce any stress levels that you may have because stress will pack on fat. Then there's a factor that you really can't help and that's your genes. Some people's family history or DNA make up will not allow the body to lose weight like they should. Then it could be that you are doing exactly what you need and it's still not working. This is when you need to use a product that allows your body to lose weight like you should. You can boil water, cinnamon, and honey together daily at breakfast and before you go to sleep. Also, a co-worker of mine had the same problem like you and she used this patch thing. Take care and good luck.

I would suggest a cleansing diet. I lost 12 pounds in 9 days and then 28 pounds in less than a month. I also lost a lot of inches too! I learned that cleansing will help the body get rid of toxins. Toxins come from a lot of things like fast food, pollution, food additives and preservatives and lots of other things. The toxins get stored in the fat in our body. To get rid of the fat, we have to get rid of the toxins by cleansing the body. This made sense to me and I decided to try a cleanse program and it worked. The weight came off fast and this kept me motivated to keep going, not like other diets where the weight loss it too slow. I did Jenny Craig, and Medifast. If you want to learn more call the toll free number 1-877-587-4647 or check out the website. This was the first time I ever did a cleanse, it was easy and I feel better. Good luck whatever you decide to do! http://thebestcleansingdiet.com

See the link below. Losing weight involves not just exercise, but watching what you eat and making sure that your body is burning more calories than you take in (food). It can take some getting used to, but it sounds like you're ready to start from your successful walking routine. Good luck!

i have also tried walking to lose weight. i have found more success with this if i walked 30 minutes 3 times a day. it seems that the more often i did it for that amount of time i got better results. in fact i lost 10 lb in 1 week. and i also cut back on my caffeine, bc that can increase your weight also. i didnt even have to really stop eating all take out food, i just minimized it. it has been working for me, hope it works for you too.

You won't burn enough calories just by walking two miles. You really need to do some research on loosing weight based on calories. One activity a day isn't enough
By burning enough calories everyday.
One pound of fat is equal to 3,500 calories. You need to keep your food intake about at 1,200 per day.
You can buy a calorie counter watch to wear everyday. Keep your activity up and keep moving. Take your overal number from up above which is 4,700 calories and makes ure that is what you are burning by your watch everyday.
I lost 35 pounds by this method. Its alot easier than people think. You just have to change your way of thinking.

If you burn more calories than you eat, you should lose weight. If you go to http://www.inch-aweigh.com/dcn.php and see how many calories you should eat per day then subtract about 750 calories off of that and eat that many calories everyday you should lose weight! Good luck and hope I helped!!

calories eaten < calories used = weight loss
keep walking and cut back on calories just a bit. i stopped eating after 9 p.m. (my normal bedtime is 1 a.m.) and only eat dessert on the days i work out. that's helped for me and i barely notice the decrease in calories.
