I don't think its just Catholics. Most people and faiths think thiers is the One True Way. While I am not Christian I stand by the firm belief that a true Christian loves those around them no matter what. The most wonderful Christian I have ever met tell me that over and over again. But I think a truly nice person feels the same way.

First, let me say that generalizations are always wrong.

Second, if you are referring specifically to Catholic beliefs, Catholics are tolerant towards those who are learning and discerning the Justice behind Catholic beliefs and practices.

However, do not expect a properly instructed Catholic to forge a compromise at the expense of Church Doctrine.

Because their church teaches them if you are not a member in good standing of the Catholic church, and perform the sacraments, etc., you are not saved.

Sad.
