If and when the medication becomes a problem for you, the thing to do is to get on the phone and call your Dr. to discuss this. The patient and the Dr. need to work together like a team to determine what is wrong, and what will help you. There are a number of medications available that will address your condition. Sometimes you need to try more types, or to adjust the dosage as your Dr. directs you to do. To just start and stop medications without your Dr.s involvement is only wasting money and delaying the time when you will feel good again.

You can feel like a person again. Working with a counselor or psychologist will also help immensely toward regaining your emotional and mental health.

If you are feeling like all this is too much trouble, hold your baby, and do this for him/her. Babies need healthy moms.
