OK i've gotten my eyebrows threaded before(i think 3 times before) but it always seems to hurt. Not an UNBEARABLE pain but it still hurts. is there anything i can do to minimize the pain. please dont say"get them waxed" or something like that because, even though it hurts, threading gives the best results.

Help me out here...are you speaking about khite or fatlah; Arabic for eyebrow threading? As I recall it is fashionable for Indian movie stars and not just to remove facial hair follicles.

As for pain...when I lived in the middle east I would walk by women's hair salons (the views totally blocked from men's eyes) on occasion and until someone explained it to me I had no idea why there were so many screaming and crying women being heard from those shops. How to minimize the pain....me? I'm not so vain as to feel I need anything more than a haircut every few weeks....but hey, women care more about their looks than the average guy. I was told by an Arab woman....a westernized Arab woman in Kuwait...that without an experienced person in aesthete the pain can be unnecessary and the damage to face significant. I was told to tell my wives...right, wives (Kuwait remember) to always look for spas that had attractive Arab and Indian women coming out or going into the spas for their threading. This indicated a staff that knew their business.

Sorry...that's all I know about it....except I'd never do it if I were female.
