Some of you call the Church bigot's if we do not accept gay marriage or the gay life style but my question is what are you called if you don't accept Jesus Christ or Christians? Remember the bible does teach against the gay life style (Romans 1:18-32) so it is an oxymoron to say that you love God, which includes His Word, but willfully do what you think is right in your own eyes without repentance or even conviction! Are gay people or people who don't believe in God to be called bigot's as well because they do not accept God's truth/the bible (in many cases with a foul disdain)? You see, the so-called hate bashing flows both ways my friends and no one can say it's one sided! I'll admit that not all people in the world who claim to be Christians are actually walking it out, but for those of us who are and are trying our best to live up to God's standards, why should the Church be raked if we do not accept the practice of a gay union?

This question is not about hate. I personally do not hate gay people but I am told that I hate when I tell people that I do not sanction gay marriage or accept the gay life style as anything other than sin. God said it and that settles it. It is not me who is the judge but it has been judged before I was even born! I can not help it if the light stings your eyes when it shines in your dark state! And for all you so called intellects out there thank you for the intelligence that went behind the creation of the nuclear war head among other scientifically "intelligent" and rationally thought out things.

We are sick of people like you trying to force us to change our faith just because you don't agree with it! The Christian faith as been around for thousands of years and no one on the face of this earth has the right to force us to change it!! People are bigots when they hate. As I've stated I do not hate people who participate in gay activities! But that doesn't mean I have to accept the gay life style and have the opinions of others outside of my faith shoved down my throat!!

The problem is that those who are offended when we preach the Gospel to those living in a homosexual relationship and who are also offended when we refuse to support them say we do not love them. Actually, it is out of the love that comes from Gd that we reach out and try to keep them from going to hell. It is because everyone is so precious that we take the time to try and pull out of the fire everyone. They can not see this because they have rejected God and His ways, but we as His servants must still try as the Good Samaritan did. We will be persecuted and called all sorts of names for this, but Jesus told us we would.

You are called a human being if you do not accept Jesus or Christians. The Bible doesn't say anything about accepting Jesus. And Jesus never said "Accept me". Therefore I really don't know what you are talking about.
I am a Christian and I do not hate gay people. Some of my best time has been spent with gay men. I find some of them fascinating to talk to. I love all people and so does God. But God is also a Judge and He will judge all according to His justice. Christians are to warn of this horrible day of judgment and that all of those who are not covered with the blood of Christ (through repentance and faith) will face God's judgment. God's judgment will be so thorough that those cast into hell will know that God is right in sending them there.
But make no mistake, God wants all people to be saved and in His goodness and mercy has provided a way through Jesus Christ.

Romans does not teach against the 'gay lifestyle.' There was no 'gay lifestyle' during the times the Bible depicts. If you believe that the Bible is the precise word of God, then you must understand aramaic since that is the language the Bible was written in. Any other languge is a translation. That's my first point. Next, the Bible is, among other things, a reflection of the time it was written. In the ancient mideast, there was UNDERpopulation. There was a great need for procreation. Romans does not say Jesus disapproved of homosexuality; it says God disapproves of it, but in the same passage, it states God disapproves of lots of other things. By focusing ONLY on the homosexual part, it demonstrates a bias--as though that was the worst thing God was admonishing people against. It doesn't say anywhere and not in Romans that homosexuality is worse than lots of other things, like hate and disrespect. Nowadays, there are too many people in the world. We have overpopulation. In fact, homosexuality could be a good way to reduce the population explosion, which if it goes unchecked will destroy all life on the planet. If you think that is what God wants, I think you have a problem.

When Christ said to Love others He didn't mean to Love everything everybody does no matter what! Come on, when you are a friend you tell someone if they are about to pick up a plate that is red hot... because you don't want them to get burned. Yes and Christians do sin too, but the difference is that they go to God and ask for forgiveness because they know it is wrong and they don't want to do it anymore unlike a gay person who does not think it is wrong and wants to continue. Where is the confussion here, the argument, I just don't see it.
And to the person below (rev), you can be as tired as you want but I still have a right to my religious beliefs and to voice them - just as you do, so why am I a bigot for my beliefs but you are not? Listen to yourself.

I find it very hard to believe that the almighty creator of the universe has a huge problem with what two consenting people do while naked.
So yes.
Christians ARE bigots for not accepting gay marriage. They are bigots for being intolerant of those who do not think like they do, who do not believe like they do, and do not have sex like they do.
The Bible is NOT an authoritative source... I'm getting tired of you people thinking that your "morality" (if it can even have that label) can be imposed upon whoever has a "sinful" lifestyle. Why do they have a "sinful" lifestyle? Because your Bible says so... back to square one.
You make me sick.

First Corinthians 6:9 mentions "homosexual offenders" in a long list of people who will not inherit the kingdom of God. This passage seems clear --until the discussions begin about the exact meaning of the original Greek word.
Does "arsenokoitai" refer to lustful, uncommitted male prostitution or to a loving, permanent relationship?
What did Paul mean when he stated that homosexual acts are "unnatural" (Rom. 1:26, 27)? Contrary to what a person feels is natural? Not necessarily. Many homosexuals say that they have always felt attracted to others of their own gender.
what about testosterone females? lesbian women born with testes as well as ovaries...but no uterus?
god does not make mistakes my friend.
i for one do not hate homosexuals....or anyone for that matter...which is the true teachings of the bible...Jesus had but one message....love thy neighbor as thyself....
i for one do not judge...lest i be judged in heaven.
pray for one and all...and not just the straight people out there...everyone needs god...even the "fallen"

Who Wrote the Holy Bible? The short answer is the Holy Spirit. This is the answer the Bible gives, and it is also a confessional answer for Christians. This is also the reason why it is called the Holy Bible, the source is divine. The more involved answer is that various men (and perhaps a woman or two) recorded what God had said to them.
so you believe a bunch of crazy people that hear voices in their head and decided to write a book!

I have always tried to be good to homosexuals as individuals, but I cannot accept their lifestyle.
I cannot stand tall before God if I support Gay marriage.
Only marriage between a man and a woman is justified.

I got news for you. We are sick of 'Christians' like you shoving your lifestyle down our throats and enacting laws that discriminate against us.
Just remember that your 'bible' was written by MEN.
