Yes, but I don't think we fully understand it...maybe karma is in reincarnation, maybe it happens after death, maybe it happens in our current life... I don't know, but if we keep the golden rule, we really don't have anything to worry about....just love others as you would want to be loved.

In Karma idea, dangerous karma can't be defeated through doing well karmas. The account for dangerous karmas are separate. And the account of well karmas are separate. The results of karma can't be mitigated. It should be loved or suffered. There is a Sanskrit Sloka: "Avasyam anubhogthavyam kritham karma subha asubham; naa bhugtham ksheeyathe karma kalpa koti sathairapi". Meaning; We have got to endure the results of our karmas, if it is well or dangerous. No karma gets erased through doing different deeds. Sometime we will have to consider that we don't seem to be doing and that nature is bringing one of these situation to drive us to take a normal direction to adopt that movement. There is a announcing in Mahanarayana Upanishad: "Kamokarsheet Manyurakarsheet Namo Namah". It is an complicated factor, which I don't wish to provide an explanation for right here. Those who understand can comprehend.

Technically, the word "karma" simply means "action"; "the law of karma" can be restated as "the law of cause and effect".

The bible principle is "whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap" - Galatians 6:7, KJV.

(Ecclesiastes 11:1-6) Send out your bread upon the surface of the waters, for in the course of many days you will find it again. ...4 He that is watching the wind will not sow seed; and he that is looking at the clouds will not reap. 5 ...you do not know the work of the true God, who does all things. 6 In the morning sow your seed and until the evening do not let your hand rest; for you are not knowing where this will have success, either here or there, or whether both of them will alike be good.

This reference discussing "karma" is particularly interesting for Christians:

Yeah.

The world is definitely based on cause and effect, and karma explains a lot.

But I wouldn't say that it always works out that bad/good karma goes to the originator...I think there's bad karma out there and it hits people kinda randomly.

I mean, an action did cause the bad karma...but I don't know that everybody who gets a bad effect necessarily deserves it, or is working out a karmic debt.

I think there are too many people having too many karmic experiences for karma to work out for every individual. Life seems a little too sloppy for it to be a 1:1 ratio.

But in general, yeah, I think it makes sense.

Yes.

Karma is neutral! Karma is nothing but cause and effect!

What you get is the direct result of the choices and actions you have made! There is no God saying anything about your life being good or bad.

It is all based on the energy you send off with the actions you do!

Cause and Effect is observable and provable!

GOD IS NOT!

I believe in some sort of response to our actions.

I think I tend to believe in The Law of Attraction more ... "You get what you send out; your actions determine your destiny."

If you are constantly sending out negative energies and act in a negative way then that is what will be returned back to you.

Karma is viewed in many different ways by different spiritual paths so in a broad sense I believe it but when looking at the different views on it I don't believe in them all.

Though I am a westerner and Karma is an eastern concept, I do believe in it.
I believe in reincarnation, and part of that includes learning the lessons we need to and righting our wrongs.
But that's just my belief.

I believe we make our own karma by sending out positive energy and negative energy in our words and actions. What we put into our lives is what we will get back.

I don't believe in Karma per se but in Asatru our concept of Orlog and Wyrd is similar to Karma. Orlog is one's primal layers made up of all of the actions of one's past and present, as well as the things that were done to that person in the past and the present. Wyrd is the sum of future events influenced by your Orlog as well as the Orlog of those immediately around you.

Yes. I think it has to do with us using only about one third of our brains. When we give off Karma we're using part of the other two thirds...maybe.

Have a nicey nice day
