many mistakes ... although i call them lessons
and I would not change a thing
and yes it has brought me an understanding of who I am
I have written about this and would like to share a little of it with you
We cannot fully progress emotionally , mentally or spiritually without trusting we are wonderfully unique and beautiful individuals with so much to offer to this world .
So how do we do it ? How do we start to love that person inside and out ?
Well I think firstly it begins by accepting and understanding that all those factors you don’t like about yourself are really part of you and not something to be ashamed off . Everything about you makes you exactly who you are, even those parts you try to forget , and as they are still in our mind and we cannot get rid of our past perhaps if we embrace it and allow it to become part of us it may be the key to its own release !

I started out this life at an atheist. I didn't have any belief in any god as an infant. Later, I was raised a Christian, though I got over it and have been an atheist for the last couple decades.
I didn't really come into a deeper understanding of this world until I started deconverted from religion. Religious superstition clouds the mind. I still make mistakes and do things I regret, but it is fewer mistakes and smaller mistakes than I've made before. And I've learned not to worry about them as much. We're all human.

The problem with the use of karma as an explanation of that sort is that if all souls have undergone an infinite number of past rebirths, then hasn't everyone been a murderer or a saint at some point in the past? But if more recent karma is more effective, then why in this life do bad people sometimes get away with things and horrible things sometimes happens to good people. In that sense karma is a bit of a "fudge factor".

well, everything. If you are in the same train of thought as when you were five, then life hasn't got you yet. I think that most people are most affected by negative things though. I guess one bad thing can ruin your day, without much thought of the little things. I think that every person, place, and thought you have changes you a little. My place of change would be the day my dad died. Up until my dad would live forever, everyone stayed, and he was a super hero. Some how, because he died, death isn't so scary anymore.

I am what I am today (wiccan) because of the abuse I recieved at the hands of God fearing Chrisitans for 40 years. I served more time in Christianity than most murders serve in prision. I am now free from the fear, hatrid and self loathing that was taught to me for all those years. My mistake was staying in christianity as long as I did. I should have gotten out 20 years ago. Today I am stronger spiritually than I ever was before. I love my family and myself unconditionally now. I am so happy and at peace. Blessed Be.

I won't get into the experience itself but I will say that a broken heart will teach you many things. However, if you never learn how to overcome the bitterness that is inside a broken heart then you'll never progress. My heart had been hurt so many times when I allowed others, who claimed they loved me, to come into my life and then leave me alone. I began to hate myself and how I'd let so much time slip away from me trying to love others and get them to love me back. I was so miserable and hurt that I could not see myself doing anything worthwhile in life, not even finishing school. But God rescued me! I didn't know about Jesus Christ or what it truly meant to have a real relationship with God but God called me out of my dark situation. He chose me to teach me about Him and His love for me. His word showed me the way I should go and now I'm finishing school, I've forgiven all those who have hurt me, and I'm determined not to allow people to come in and out of my life and heart just because. God has strengthened be against my own foolish ways and He's given me a bright future in Him. I will ever be eternally grateful and most glad that He saved me!! : )

My experiences have shaped me, but I have no real regrets.
I learned a great deal from my first romantic relationship. The boy I was dating was emotionally distant and abusive. I put up with it for entirely too long (4 months of being lies and cancelled-at-the-last-minute dates). I ended things with him, and now I am much more protective of my time and my heart.

Past life experience????
I have no memory of a past life so that didn't have any effect on what I believe today.
As for my life experience it is the basis for what I believe!
Like there is a Divine force but it is NOT at all like any religious text deplicts!
If a God like that would exist I would oppose it every step of the way!

I have been raised a Catholic and im 34, but with life experience I beleive in all religions, and one God as this includes us (all people with a will and dreams ). I still think Jesus is God but I also think we are all God. Because of the Holy Spirit we have inside us.

R U talking about what you did in the past, or about what happened in your "past lives"?
I've always wondered about that - how come those who have (allegedly) experienced past lives, are always someone of importance?
95% of people will go through life being a drone, of no lasting significance, and somebody who no-one will remember.
