Heavenly Father,

WE PRAY for you to guide the congressional democrats away from withdrawing our troops in their noble crusade against the terrorism that has gripped this country since September 11th, and that commanders on the ground will have the final say in making the decisions, not the politicians in Washington.

Though it is a hostile world for soldiers even today as they are spat upon upon returning home, WE PRAY that they will be shown at least some courtesy and respect by the liberals.

WE PRAY for strong GOP presidential candidates that will support their mission and also oppose gay marriage, so that the soldiers can come home to their wives in strong marriages, and WE PRAY for a republican sweep of the White House and congress in 2008, so that our country can once again unite under Jesus.

Amen!

Wow. I read on a forum that some guy had a nephew going to Iraq for his **3rd** tour, and he was personally holding the dems responsible for the guy's safety and how they were screwing up the country, which could be about the most moronic statement I have ever heard. What about the people that lied to start the pointless and not needed war? Since Bush took office, I am regularly amazed at how dumb people can be in the US. There never seems to be an end to it.

I'm with you all the way. It's stupid to pull out now. Whether or not the war was right to begin with. It's our job to try to make them stable. It would be like us not helping Japan and Germany to rebuild after World War 2. We started stuff like that and it helped. I think the Democrats want to see Bush fail so they can push their agenda. Keep out Dinesh D'Souza's "The Enemy At Home". The Democrats (Nancy Pelosi makes me violently ill) are also using the troops as pawn in their political agenda. You shouldn't become a soildier and not expect to face death. No one made them do it. They are soildiers, it's their job.

This is not Vietnam. We were attacked on our soil. Innocent people died. What is wrong with people?

Dear Lord.

We realize that the Christians in this country are a travesty, and that their very existence mocks the teachings of the Prince of Peace, your son. May one day, they understand your commandment, to love thy brother as ye love thyself.

In these dark days, our sons and daughters in the military, who have sworn and dedicated their lives, the most precious gift you have given us, to defend this country and it's people from those who would destroy us, that these lives are now being risked, and the innocent killed, to serve the vanity of one evil and self-serving man.

We pray that you watch over our children, that they might return home in safety, and that they might no longer be forced to do the will of the Lord of Evil and Darkness.

Amen

Given that they behaved like Nazi thugs, its kind of a stretch to imagine they will be greeted like heroes. I guess you haven't heard. One million people have fled Iraq since The American Hero showed up. The country is devastated. More than a quarter of a million I raqi civilians are dead,it makes 9/11 look like a minor event. Our soldiers were not draftees. They were there of there own choice. At lot of people would call them war criminals. I want them out. I want the U.S. out out of the Mideast altogether, including our support for that disgraceful Jewish colonial administration in occupied Palestine. Got it? My prayers go toward the Christian God,not Mars the Roman god of war.

It's ironic that you would 'support' the troops by continuing to needlessly put them in harms way. You'd be better off praying for peace.

Simple Fact: A president that needlessly puts soldiers in harm's way, does not support them, but thinks very little of them.

Funny, but fake. Republicans never refer to THEMSELVES as GOP candidates, and exactly who is spitting upon returning soldiers?

Why do we even indulge idiots like this?

i think the best way to support the troops is to bring them home to their wives, husbands, children, and lovers. you do realize that there are gay men and women "defending freedom" in iraq but they can't get married when they come home to the "land of the free", right?

I pray they go to Iran and North Korea...Iraq is no threat. Lets look at nations that produce terrorists (Saudi Arabia) and the ones with nukes (North Korea, Iran) and get outta Iraq.

Agree on the gay marriage!

Isn't it interesting that God chose to make His advent amongst the very people white Christian Americans most despise?

No I cannot. Wow, another Ignorant Amerinazi looking to use religion to forward a political agenda. You know Jesus wouldn't like that at all. Give Caesar's things to Caesar, and gods things to gods.

STOP TRYING TO USE RELIGION TO FORWARD YOUR POLITICAL AGENDA
