Each generation believes Jesus will return in their life time because of the prophesies. But Jesus says no man knows the day or the hour. We will know the season. The signs that show the season are wars and rumors of war, earthquakes in various places (see these two would make any generation think it was theirs). When you get to the two about every eye shall see, well that has only been possible since the invention of satellite. Every eye shall see Jesus coming in the clouds in the eastern sky. and every eye shall see the two witnesses lying dead in the street for 3 days. Also, the time frame of reformation of Israel in the 40's and Jerusalem becoming the capital again taking place in the 60's. The Bible says this generation shall not pass away before Jesus returns. Depending on which one it is talking about, the event in the 40's or 60's. The generation of the 40's is about gone. The generation of the 60's is mine. So I see it as Jesus could come at anytime now.
