64 pound Flathead catfish ... Santee Cooper South carolina.
I thought I did great , I took it in to weigh it at a tackle shop and they didnt even look twice at it . They said they catch them like that all the time there

Biggest fish ever was a 3,000 pound plus Great White Shark off of Montauk, Long Island, NY. Biggest fish I have ever caught was a 48 pound 49-inch striped bass.

Ive caught a 7 lb bass, a 10 lb cat, my dad caught a 20 or so cat, and my cousin caught a 56 pounder off a jug in a private lake. You could fit a football in its mouth from one point of the football to the other from top to bottom jaw. It was a monster.

32 pound Coho Salmon, caught in the Salmon River in Puaski, NY.. the best damn river for salmon I've ever found. She (it was a female) took out my #12 line until i started seeing spool, if she'd run another 80 feet I would have lost her. If you ever get the chance to go there, GO! King, Chinook, and Coho all run it in about a one month period (late Oct./early Nov.). Its off of Lake Ontario, north of Syracuse. It's so popular now you have to book your rooms in motels a year in advance. FISH ON!

just a large hammerhead on what he left of my groupers head! So I fed it back to him on some 130lb line with a double 10/0 rig with 12 foot of wire leader! I need to say that great fish was released live to fight again maybe I will meet him for one more battle!

Deep sea fishing in the Gulf of Mexico, I caught 74lb Grouper. 20lbs less than me! Most definetly not the largest I've seen caught in the Gulf, just my largest with no help.
Unless, maybe that one trouser trout...no, that's my business.

Fresh water, a 45" nothern pike. Salt, a 6' hammerhead shark. But that was with a speargun.
