Question Details: or "righteous among the nations". Ghandi was quoted as saying, "I like your Jesus. I do not however like christians. Never have a people been more eskew from the teachings of their religion." Christians believe that he is in hell. Are x-tians THE SINGLE MOST messed up group on earth?

Bullsh*t! My Jewish grandmother is afraid to walk past a catholic church. Why? Because she survived the holocaust. I guess she should've been a good "heathen" and just died.

I thought he said, " They are so unlike your Christ."

Christians aren't all that far away from the teachings of their religion, as their religion has accumulated a vast store of garbage done "in the name of God" over the years.

Therefore, they're in line with the religion, but not with the nature of Christ, their supposed spiritual leader.

Poor JC. He was a good guy...but Christians do a bunch of bs and say that it's sanctioned by God and Jesus would want them to be such hateful, rude, boneheaded hypocrites.

If Christians were actually like Christ, they'd be o-tay.

But they follow their messed-up religion, which is pretty far from the liberal hippie teachings of JC.

Wish they'd go back to what JC was all about. JC and Gandhi would've had fun together. They were pretty similar, really.

And this is why I don't go to Christian church. Not enough like Christ's way of thinking.

I am Christian, but Gandhi is right in general. I like Gandhi the way he liked Jesus. I believe Gandhi knew Jesus more than most Christians do. Like the good Samaritan in Jesus' time, however, today there are also good Christians. To get an idea of how messed up Christian faith is, I made an informal survey in college classes and learned that on the average, there are three Islam in 50 Christians. Only 5 Christians read the Bible. I asked the Islam students if they read the Koran, they said not yet. So I told them we are not very different.

Jews have no such title; there is an honorary title involving "righteous" but certainly not "goyim". As to the rest,it sounds pretty incoherent to me. I'm sorry you don't like Christians. So join the Hindus. Try the International Society for Krsna Consciousness. It's for American converts. Best wishes.

Not all of them are. However, looking at ratios between good Christians and corrupt ones, I'd have to agree that Christianity does have the greatest number of flawed peoples.

I said ratios specifically because if I didn't, I'm sure I would hear the "you hear about more messed up Christians because there are more Christians altogether!" argument, which is a really misleading and false argument in this case.

you're definitely nothing like Ghandi then. Ghandi wouldn't have used bad language like that.

whether Ghandi is in Heaven or not is debatable. We know that man doesn't earn his way to Heaven, we know there is One way to God, and we know that Hell is the destination of the road of rejection towards Christ. We do not know however Ghandi's final thoughts in that fraction of a second before his death or whether he secretly got saved. If he got saved, he was still a pretty confused guy if he thought there were many ways.

it's not our right to judge, that's God's job. And I prefer Jesus over Ghandi anyway. He made things very clear, he didn't curse, he didn't harm anyone, he was way ahead of his time (rabbi 20 years earlier than usual), and cared enough to sacrifice himself.

I agree with Ghandi full heartedly.
But not on Christians in saying he is in hell.
I don't believe in hell.
But if there was a hell, Ghandi would not be there.

at the start i ask your self How the Yahoo has allowed this question without deleting it ! you need to be having some nexus with the yahoo team ! because of the fact they have been blocking off some people for the final one week or so for question like one you have asked . you have rightly stated the heaven would be packed with Christians with Hitler being the chairman. yet yeah, I forgot to function the different people who will bypass to to heaven is the YAHOO team. For they have been tirelessly working to assist the pro-Bible foyer and struggling with it out with the infidel liberals. they have no situation with gays, lesbians & zealots yet are very soft of rationals. do no longer subject costly we are able to be extra appropriate off in the hell and the christian hawks of the heaven will like to attack another heaven set up by making use of different faiths. they do no longer seem to be going to grimy their palms attacking some insignificant people staying in the hell. 3 cheers for hell !

You obviously don't understand that entry into hell is not based on being a peaceful person.

Yes, Christians have a lot of bad teachings.

But you are not a nice judge.
