I have alway thought sexual education in Catholic Schools was well done. Maybe it varies from place to place.
Here is the Health curricula (which includes sexual education) for in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles grades K-8: http://www.archdiocese.la/learning/schools/curricula/index.html
With love in Christ.

I felt bad for youas I am the religion /Sex Ed teacher in my Catholic High school The school had a course on Death & Dying and none on Human sexuality!! We the teachers changed that. Its an open informative course. Our students love it and help form it. They asked for life-like babies as a project It took time but we got them through the PTO. You can communicate your question/ideas (which are very valid) to your teacher/ principal even annonymously... just do it right and with maturity... you might be pleasantly surprised!!! Catholic Schools want to teach Chastity not necessaryily abstinance or Celibacy and theres a big difference
And celebrate the gift of life at all stages. Sometimes they jsut dont think you have questions if you are not asking!!

Do you really, honestly, truly, have to go through some sex-ed program in order to be infomed of the Truth concerning sex?
It's quite simple. If you're not married, don't do it. And if you are married, be sure only to do it with your spouse and that the act is an honest giving of one's self to the other - that means no artificial or otherwise illicit forms of birth control.
Besides, something like sex-ed is not supposed to be taught in schools. It is supposed to be taught by the parents in the home. So, if it is a sex-ed program you want, talk to your parents, it's their job. Don't rely on the school.

Sorry. But here is a great example that parent have to step up to the plate and be parents. This is not a schools responsibility. But your mother and father. Schools DO step in because for some reason the most liberal of generations can't seem to spit out basic facts on human biology, spirituality, and sacredness of sex and marriage.
If you question anything about sex education, don't expect nor should you anticipate that a school should share this; go ask your parents.

I got some basic sex ed at my Catholic school. It was basically "Don't have sex until you get married, because you are going to get an STD." They did explain a bit about STDs, but that was it. There was no talk of contraception or anything.
The Church did overturn its no birth control rule, but it is still only to be used by married couples, as they are they only ones who should be having sex in the first place.
My public school was worse, though. They didn't even talk about the consequences in any detail. It was just "Don't have sex, or you will have STDs, babies, and die." This is actually the ONE thing my Catholic school taught better, haha!

Sex education is more important for your health as well as for your next generation. Mojority of the Reglions also provide you complet information of sex education but in real sex with real partner. we can divid sex educatio in three different aspects
Time of sex,
what time is better for sex, do not do sex after food it will dangereous for your health, at least two hours gap between food and sex. more suitable time when your stomatch is empty, further sex time managment is more important.
place of sex,
second place of sex, where r u going to sex, as a religious person, or sobre man u can not do sex at any place, where u keep ur feeling behind better place, there should not be show off to people. should be safe do not do publicly.
manner of sex.
Third manner of sex, it should be human sex, not act like animal.
(Note sex should be allowed only with your real partner not for volgarity)

Abstinence is a policy the Catholic Church has had for ages, and i agree we should teach abstinence, and teach our children they can control their instincts. I will probably be bashed as some sort of radical for making that post.
Also you clearly know more, so just because they do not teach you the material, from parents, other kids, etc. you have already found out

The catholics are the most sexually repressed people on the planet. Well, one of the most sexually repressed. According to their babble all is says is sexually repressed things that their god doesn't want them to do. That's why when sex is the topic for discussion they shove their heads up their a*s. I recommend you read the new book coming out called God is not great. The author talks a lot on this religious problem and explains it is one of the reasons that catholics are the sexually repressed morons they are today.

Huh. Things haven't changed much. When I was in (Catholic)high school - and this is a good many decades ago - the only sex ed was, "Don't do it. Don't even think about it." That was a mistake then; it is certainly a mistake now.
