It is good you are spending less time on the computer and more time outside.
I am trying to lose weight to and what is working for me is just to eat better ( I only eat carbs in the morning for energy) and working out more. Currently I am doing 30 min on the eliptical machine every day at the gym and lifting weights 3 times a week. I am also walking more and eating protein for dinner.
So far it has helped, I am in my second week and so far I have lost 5 pounds.
This what has worked for me, you would fine what works better for you, but if you exercise and choose better food and portions the weight will come off. Try not loose more than 2 or 3 pounds a week is unhealthy.
Hope it helps,
Guasabara

I would suggest a cleansing diet. I lost 12 pounds in 9 days and then 28 pounds in less than a month. I also lost a lot of inches too! I learned that cleansing will help the body get rid of toxins. Toxins come from a lot of things like fast food, pollution, food additives and preservatives and lots of other things. The toxins get stored in the fat in our body. To get rid of the fat, we have to get rid of the toxins by cleansing the body. This made sense to me and I decided to try a cleanse program and it worked. The weight came off fast and this kept me motivated to keep going, not like other diets where the weight loss it too slow. I did Jenny Craig, and Medifast. If you want to learn more call the toll free number 1-877-587-4647 or check out the website. This was the first time I ever did a cleanse, it was easy and I feel better. Good luck whatever you decide to do! http://thebestcleansingdiet.com

If you can afford it, or if your insurance will cover it, go to a nutritionist and have them do a meal plan for you, with emphasis on weight loss.. also, you can go to the ADA, ie American Diabetes Association, and get some ideas there as to how much to eat each day..
Being overweight is a sure way to put yourself at risk for diabetes, and more and more Americans are contracting it.
If you are conscientious about it, and stick with a meal plan, you can and will lose weight. Good luck and God bless.
