Why are guys afraid to say 'I love you' in front of others?

No need to bite my head off some of you. It's a common question, a lot of friends' boyfriends say 'I love you' to them when it's just them or they're hanging out with other female friends, but around their siblings or friends they pretend they haven't heard you.

My boyfriend says it all the time just not in front of his friends. I just want to know.

I'm a girl so I can't speak for guys but I can tell you what psychology says. If they say "I love you" men assume you know that from then on. If their feelings change, they'll tell you but otherwise they still love you. Women like reassurance but we tend to forget that men work differently. Try to ease up a bit, let him know you'd like to hear it more often, but also be understanding of him.

I am a heterosexual guy and i'm not frightened of a female menstrual cycle. I as soon as bought tampons from a store and had intercourse twice with my ex while she used to be menstruating. It used to be gross, however I did it anyway. (due to the fact I was actual attractive LOL) So no longer all guys are afraid.

i'm a heterosexual guy and that i'm no longer worried of a girl menstrual cycle. I as quickly as offered tampons from a keep and had intercourse two times with my ex on an identical time as she replaced into menstruating. It replaced into gross, yet I did it besides. (because of the fact i replaced into actual sexy LOL) So no longer all adult adult males are afraid.

cuz guys have what is called a ego and egos make guys wanna be better than the other guys and like 'tap' girls before others and all so like dont worry about it
example:
my ex was like uber nice to me when we were at the movies and he wasnt with his friends but in public he was all mean to my friends and was bullying them and would like force me to do things i didnt want to do so i dumped him

next time u are alone be like, do u really love me? cuz u dont act like it when ur around ur friends and whatever else is bothering you, good luck!

The better question is why do you need them to do so? Are you really that needy and insecure about the relationship that those few words would make the difference?

This isn't a "him" problem, it's a "you" one.

your guy may be embarrassed like it's a stupid weakness, you know like he's still a little boy playin in forts. but your man, he will say it anyplace, anytime, infront on whomever and sometimes before you will and not give a f33k because he understands it all about you and him, not you him and them. when a man has that understanding then there are no problems and a happy "satisfied" man he can always be.

If a guy is to immature to say I love you in front of his friends, then he's definitely to immature to be in a relationship..

honestly, I really think it's either a pride issue or they really don't love you. and I'm sure some guys just don't like showing how much they care about people in public. It sucks, but guys are so.. so.. weird. and it's not just with you.
