Why are guys so full of themselves?
I say hi, and they think I have a crush on them. I ask them to hang out, they think I'm in love with them. I express interest, and they think I want to spend my life with them. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?

Guys are assholes no matter where there from, you just need to find one that you can put up with for the rest of your life.
Christian or Jew, Russian or american,black or white,gay or stright,the pope or satan, All men are assholes one time or another. Thats Life and If I could find a way to get pragnet without needing a man, then I would not want a man. They cause more problems then solutions.
Ever wonder why all of women's problems have started with men....
MENapause, MENstration,MENtal breakdown,MENace,MENial work gets done. Like I said men are assholes.

You are doing nothing wrong, and for the most part, I agree with you. A lot of men have very big, but fragile egos. I noticed a long time ago that if you smile at a guy and are generally nice to them, they tend to think that you want them, bad. Just continue to be yourself, and don't let it bother you. If they get too full of themselves, I always enjoy immensely letting them know the real deal.

maybe the way you say things to them is just in a way where they think your attracted to them. As for guy's being full of themselves maybe your just talking to the guys that like to impress there friends by saying things like " hey guys im going out with this hot chik"

Hate to tell you but it goes both way even females are. Part of it human nature the rest is due to the individuals personality. Then it also come down to how you present yourself to the guys you may be leading them on in some way without realizing it.

grr same here, i just glance and smile at them and they think i have a crush on them.
ummmmmmm HELLO! i dont! can't a girl just be friendly and make a few guy friends or two?
then they stop looking at me and completely hold a grudge against me, or then they start coming on to me, even though i only find them interesting to look at

You seem a youthful smart lady. you need to not settle for insensitivity and especialy no longer violence. If any guy is as you stated he's basically no longer solid adequate for you. unload him. I swear, some adult males are solid;) specific some adult males have difficulty speaking out their thoughts. Dont be attentive to precisely why, perhaps how they have been raised?... it is bareable. Violence is inacceptable!!!

You are simply making generalizations based on your own personal experiences. What is probably occuring is that you are a big flirt towards these guys, maybe without even realizing it, then you get mad when they respond in kind.

That it with some guys.
The pretty ones are very rude,the intermediate ones are boring and the geeky ones are just nuts.
We will have to deal with that forever.
