Would never happen in england although we like to think we are a cultural sponge that soaks up everything, we are a lot more tribal than we realise. If you look at england every region has its own dialects that vary greatly town to town even housing estate to housing estate. Its probably the only remains of old england when every city and town had there own time zones and laws and variations of the english language.
