i had someone tell me that if i paint my cement porch with vinegar first the paint will adhere better and last longer true or false if not does anyone have a suggestion for longer lasting cement paint?

Vinegar is a mild acid and would be better than nothing, but most paint stores will recommend a mild phosphoric acid like "Crete-Nu" that they sell for a much higher price.

Usually when painting older concrete you should acid wash it first. This will help the paint stick and last. Your local paint store will be able to assist you in what you need.

True in the sense that it will help cut the grease and dirt on the porch. Just the same as cleaning it, because that's what you are doing anyway. If you have a pressure washer, that will get it really clean, plus they make a concrete wash that you apply before pressure washing. good luck

as long as its paint that is against water and its specificaly for outside then it should last a while o yeah and go over it a few times do at least 3 coats it definatly help

I can't help you on that as I never heard of it. I suggest you go to your hardware store or some place like Home Depot and ask their manager. You might want to get two opinions.
